Vancouver Island is home now, but I have avoided the law in Corpus Christi Tx next to the delightful Padre Island and not far from Port Isabelle by Mexico border.
Lived also in Ventura California and that is heaven in the summer time. Ojai in the foothills nearby is a beauty gem.
Lived a short time in South Hamton UK. Great culture and history but the beach is golf ball pebbled and the channel currents are strong and dangerous. Don't go too far out when swimming there. You may end up in France.
Lived in Vancouver Canada for years before moving to a slower lifestyle here on VancouverIsland.
Vancouver may be the world's finest city. You can get to so many beauty places like Whistler, Pemberton, Golden Ears, Seymour & Cyprus Mtns, Harrison lake, Lillooet, Chilliwack Mtn and many more in a one day drive.
BTW, The corrupt Liberal party you may have heard about have been dumped and Canada's Conservatives are now in power. Greeaat! TG at BendGovernment.blogspot.com
