Well, I guess I can do one last word of the week before I leave.

A couple of months ago I was zaftig, but now I'm nearly fit, and in about 13 weeks, I'll be marine fit. and very likely still single ;) . . .

A better definition, from Leo Rosten's "The Joys of Yiddish" (since "zaftig" is, after all, as Yiddish a word as there ever was:

"Zaftig describes in one word what it takes two hands, outlining an hourglass figure, to do".

BTW, the word's root is from the German for "juicy".
