A Tequila Sunset

Ingredients:

0.5 oz Grenadine
6.0 oz each cubes of ice
4.0 oz Orange Juice
1.5 oz Tequila

Directions:

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add tequila and fill with orange juice; stir. Slowly pour in tequila and let it settle. Before serving, stir very gently once, to create the "sunset" effect.

Hmmm...this may be my birthday drink! Yum!

My wee wifey used to make these with orange Jell-o. For parties whe would put it in parfait glasses, but one time she made me one for lunch at work. Shortly thereafter I had to squat down to work on a jammed machine, and dang near fell over when I stood up.

You might want to slowly pour in Grenadine rather than slowly pouring in tequila. That way you would stand a much better chance of being able to stand up.
