The Competition

Bou is kicking butt at aerobics, VW is trying the new "No Sleep" diet, Amy is doing Weight Watchers.

I need to get back on track. I was kicking butt before vacation. I didn't go to Curves while I was on vacation for 2 weeks. Then I hurt my back carrying that digital piano in the house and attempted working out and it just didn't work. So I finally went back today...this morning...bright and early.

I drank TONS of water today and lowered my calorie intake to 1000-1200. I've had 900 so far today so I am looking forward to my watermelon desert!

I made a big salad to last me a couple of days. Iceburg lettuce, sliced cucumbers, diced tomatos, green onions, diced slices of turkey, a little bit of shredded cheese and real bacon bits (just enough to give flavor) and it's very yummy! I don't eat dressing, so that makes salad even better for cutting calories!

Thursday is my weigh-in at Curves! I have to make sure I at least hasn't gained this past month! Meanwhile, wish the other gals luck! They are kicking butt!

1200 calories is a minimum intake or your body goes into "starvation" mode. At that point, you're doing more harm than good because your metabolism drops as your body thinks its starving. You also start burning muscle, which you do not want to do.

Please, eat at LEAST 1200 calories a day!
