Getting Out of Yuma

Yuma sucks so bad that I'm looking for every possible way to get out. Temporarily and permanently.

This past Sunday, Angel, B and I drove to San Diego to see the Padres get spanked by the Rockies. When they stopped serving alcohol at the 7th inning and the score was 12-2, we decided to leave and check out the beach at Coronado Island and tour the Hotel Del Coronado.

After passing through the Border Patrol check point in the mountains:

Me: Do you want some gum while we go through the mountain?

Angel: Why? Is there a breath check?

Later on in the trip...

B: You've never seen Dumb and Dumber?

Me: Nope

B: I can't believe you've never seen Dumb and Dumber! It's like saying you've never seen Titanic!

Me: No it's not! How do you compare Dumb and Dumber to Titanic? Titanic won a fricken Oscar!

B: So, everyone's seen them!

Hmmm....I'm still not understanding the comparison.

As if that trip wasn't enough, Thursday I leave on an 850 mile trip to see my Spurs & Napster. I then drive home Sunday to drive to Phoenix Wednesday for meetings and hopefully to catch a Diamondbacks game.

I've had my new truck a month and a half and hit 4000 miles this weekend. At this rate, I will hit 32000 miles in a year. Well, if that's not the story of my life, I don't know what is!
